Remodeling & repair in St. Peters, MO
Many St. Peters homes have a few decades on them and are ready for updates inside and out. We are about 15 minutes away, and we stand behind every job we do.
Your St. Peters contractor
Much of St. Peters was built during its growth in the 1970s, '80s and '90s, and a lot of those homes still have the original layout and finishes. Think closed-off kitchens, small hall bathrooms, aging decks and siding that has seen a lot of Missouri winters. These are solid houses that respond well to the right remodel. Whether you live near the Mid Rivers Mall area, just off I-70 or closer to Hwy 364, we're about 15 minutes from our O'Fallon office.
Because so many homes here are similar in age, the projects tend to rhyme. Kitchens get opened up or reworked, tubs become walk-in showers, worn carpet gives way to new flooring, and tired siding gets replaced. We handle all of that, plus the repairs that turn up along the way, like soft subfloors or a slow leak that has been going on for years. Shane gives you a fair price up front and keeps you informed as the work moves along.

What we keep an eye on here
- 01
Decades-old layouts
Many homes here were built with closed kitchens and small baths. We can open walls, rework layouts and handle the structural changes so the house fits how you live now.
- 02
Aging decks and siding
Decks and siding from earlier decades take a beating from freeze-thaw cycles and humid summers. We repair what is sound and replace what isn't, so you're not paying for more than you need.
- 03
Hidden water damage
Older bathrooms and windows can leak slowly for years. When we open things up, we fix rotted subfloor, framing or drywall properly instead of covering it over.

ExploreShane from A to Z Improvements did an amazing job on my project. You can really tell he takes pride in his work. His attention to detail stood out from start to finish. Everything was done carefully and came out exactly how I wanted it. On top of that, his prices were super reasonable, especially for the quality of work he delivered. He's also quick to respond and very easy to talk to, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. And just like his motto says, "from roof to basement and everything in between," he really can handle it all. I'll definitely be having him back for more work in the future. Highly recommend!

FAQ
Hiring a contractor in St. Peters
Can you open up the kitchen in an older St. Peters home?
Often, yes. Many homes here have a wall between the kitchen and living area that can come out or be shortened. If the wall carries load, we handle the structural work and the permit process where one is required. Shane will look at it in person and tell you plainly what's possible and what it involves.
Do you take small jobs in St. Peters, or only full remodels?
Both. We take on full kitchen and bath remodels, but we also handle smaller work like installing ceiling fans and fixtures, patching drywall, fixing a leak or replacing a damaged section of siding. Small jobs get the same attention to detail, and you won't get nickel-and-dimed on the bill.
