Sheds & Outbuildings · O'Fallon & St. Charles County
Sheds built like small houses.
We build sheds, workshops and outbuildings with real framing, real roofs and solid floors, and we repair the ones that are falling apart.
Sheds & Accessory Buildings
Most sheds fail from the bottom and the top. The floor sits on bare ground, soaks up moisture and rots. The roof gets cheap shingles with no drip edge, and water works into the walls. After a few Missouri summers, you have a building that leans, leaks and smells like a wet basement. We build sheds the way we build houses, on a proper base with a proper roof.
Shed jobs often start as a repair. A homeowner calls about a soft floor or a roof leak, and Shane finds the problem runs deeper: rotted joists, a failed sill, siding pulling away from the frame. He explains what he's seeing and lets you decide whether to patch it or do it right. Sometimes a small repair becomes a new roof, new siding and a floor you can trust.
For new buildings, we build garden sheds, storage buildings, workshops and other outbuildings on residential lots. Cities and subdivisions across St. Charles County have rules on size, height, placement and materials, so we check those first and handle permits where required. The result is a building that matches your house, holds up to the weather and stays dry inside.

Gravel pads, treated skids or concrete as the site calls for, with floors framed and sheathed to carry mowers, tools and heavy storage.

From a real customer
“He is truly the old fashion worker your grandparents tell you about from back in the day.”
Read every reviewShane is the most professional contractor I have ever interacted with for a job. From the first time calling him to the time he left my property he was 100% sincere with everything he did. We requested to put on a new roof on a shed and fix a rotted floor. He recommended putting some extra TLC into the shed including siding and some other work. We didn't think it was possible due to the age of the shed. When he hit some roadblocks with extra issues dealing with the project, he kept his cool. He even worked in a non-shaded area, with a heat index over 110 degrees with no breaks. His employee had the same mentality and I could see his dedication as well. He was younger in age, but Shane educated him along the way. I could tell he was helping to shape the next generation of contractors. Shane was trying to put the love of the work back into the job rather than just completing the work. He told us the new problems we didn't know about and quickly addressed them. He didn't get upset by me asking questions and even gave detailed answers to my questions. If you want a person who shows the ability and love of his work, hire this company. I felt as if I hired a family member even though we never met before since he truly took ownership of his work. His prices are beyond reasonable and he doesn't charge for an extra screw or a random material other contractors charge customers. He is truly the old fashion worker your grandparents tell you about from back in the day. When I discussed future jobs with him he gladly said he would handle it. No job is too big or small for Shane. If someone would ask if I would hire him back, I would say 100%. He even warranties his work for years and you can't beat it.

FAQ
Sheds & Accessory Buildings:
common questions
Still wondering about something? Call or text Shane at (636) 306-0393.
Is it worth repairing my old shed, or should I replace it?
It depends on the framing. If the walls and roof structure are sound, replacing the floor, roof or siding can save the building. If rot has spread into the studs and sill all the way around, a new shed often makes more sense. Shane will look it over and give you an honest answer either way, even if the answer is a smaller job.
Do I need a permit for a shed?
It depends on the size of the building and where you live. Many cities in St. Charles County require a permit once a shed passes a certain size, and many HOAs have their own rules on placement, height and materials. We check both for your address and handle the permit when one is required, before any lumber is ordered.
What should my shed sit on?
That depends on the size of the building, the slope of your yard and what you'll store inside. Smaller sheds often do well on a compacted gravel pad with treated skids. Larger buildings, or ones holding heavy equipment, may need a concrete slab or piers. The goal is always the same: keep the floor up off wet ground.
Can you build a shed to match my house?
Yes. We can match the roof pitch, shingles, siding and trim colors as closely as available materials allow. A shed that looks like part of the house tends to get through HOA review more easily, and it simply looks better in the backyard. Shane will go over the details with you before we start building.
